# How can I add or change a password if I signed up using Google or social login?

### DesktopStart

If you signed up using Google or a social login and didn’t set a password for your Publer account, you can set one by clicking "Forgot Password" on the Publer login page.

# To add or change a password for your Publer account:

* On the Publer login page, click the [Forgot Password](https://app.publer.com/users/password/new) link.

* After that, you will be prompted to enter your email.

* A password reset link will be sent to your email after you click the **Reset Password** button.

* Next, go to your email inbox, open the message you received, and click the **Change My Password** button.

* Once you click the reset link in the email, you will be redirected to a page to enter your new password.

* After successfully entering your new password, you will be redirected to the Publer homepage, where you can log in using your newly set password.
