# How to change or reset my password?

### DesktopStart

# To change your **password** from inside **Publer**:

* Go to **Settings**, then select **Access & Login**:

* From there, enter your **old password**, then type your **new password** 2 times:

* If the password is changed successfully, you will be redirected to the **login page**:

* You can now **log in** with your new password. After logging in, you will be redirected to the page you were on before.

| If you enter the **wrong old password** while changing it, you will see a warning message. You can also reuse old passwords as new ones.

# To **reset** your password from outside **Publer**:

* On the **Publer login page**, click the [forgot your password](https://app.publer.io/users/password/new) link:

* Then, you will be asked to enter your email address:

* After clicking the **reset password** button, a **password reset link** will be sent to the email address you entered:

* From the email, you will be redirected to a page where you can enter your new password:

| After you successfully enter your new password, you will be redirected to the **Publer home page**.

# To change your **password** from inside the **Publer app**:

* Go to **Account Settings**, then select **Account**:

* Enter your old password and your new password 2 times, then tap **Save**:
