Once enabled, Publer's MCP tools will be available to Cursor Agent. Cursor can use MCP tools automatically when they are relevant to your request. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}

* Start a new chat with Cursor Agent.
* Ask Cursor to perform an action in your Publer workspace.

For example:

`Create a LinkedIn post about our latest product update and save it as a draft in Publer.`

Or:

`Schedule this Instagram post for tomorrow at 10 AM.`

Or:

`Show me my scheduled posts in Publer for next week.`

Cursor will use Publer's MCP tools to complete the request based on the permissions granted to your API key.

# What can you do with Cursor and Publer?

Once connected, you can interact with your Publer workspaces directly from Cursor.

For example, you can ask Cursor to:

* Create posts, drafts, and content ideas.
* Schedule or AutoSchedule posts for one or multiple social accounts.
* Upload and use media from your Publer Media Library.
* Add supported post options such as first comments, follow-up comments, AutoShare, watermarks, signatures, locations, labels, albums, and Pinterest boards.
* View your connected social accounts, workspaces, scheduled posts, drafts, published posts, and media.
* Edit or delete supported Publer content.
* Check analytics and recent social media performance.
* Generate captions, content ideas, and publishing suggestions before creating or scheduling posts.

For example:

`Create a Facebook post about our upcoming event, use a relevant image from my Publer Media Library, and save it as a draft.`

Or:

`Create 5 Instagram posts and AutoSchedule them for next week.`

Or:

`Show me my recent LinkedIn performance and suggest 3 new post ideas based on the results.`

Cursor will use Publer's MCP tools based on the permissions available to your account and the features supported by each social network.

# Keep in mind

* Cursor can only perform actions supported by Publer's MCP.
* The same social network requirements and limitations that apply when using Publer directly also apply when using Cursor.
* Keep your Publer API key secure.
* Always review the social account, content, and scheduling details before publishing important posts.
* You can manage or revoke your API keys at any time from **Settings > API & Webhooks**.
