* You can also click on **Split into a thread** if you already have a long piece of text. Publer can divide it automatically into multiple tweets using **Natural split** or **Split with AI**, making it easier to repurpose long content into a thread. Learn more about it [here](https://publer.com/help/en/article/how-to-split-text-into-threads-26rxfu/?bust=1773585462930).

### Wrapping a Thread

* You can **Copy, Wrap, or Delete** a thread by clicking the **three dots** next to it.

* To copy text, conditions, media or the entire post, click on **Copy** and choose one of the available options.

![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/e/e/f/b/eefbebed3e091800/screenshot-2026-03-30-at-25837_zk8q3r.png)

* Wrapping adds a final post that highlights the full thread. The last post becomes your wrap up message, bringing the thread back to the top with a final takeaway, note, or link.
* **Preview** how it looks.

||| The "Reach" condition is not available for this account due to API limitations.

|| NOTE: You can add conditions to additional follow up comments. Performance based conditions apply only to the first follow up comment.

* Once your thread is ready and all follow-up comments are set, proceed to schedule the post as usual.
* You can also [preview](/en/article/how-to-preview-posts-on-publer-jltbzm/) what the **Mastodon thread** will look like when it's posted.

| TIP : You can also set default follow-up comments or threads for all your posts by following [this guide](https://publer.com/help/en/article/how-to-add-follow-up-comments-to-my-posts-qym287/#1-to-set-a-default-follow-up-comment-for-your-posts).

(optional).
* Each follow-up comment/reply is customizable with [text formatting tools](https://blog.publer.io/new-visual-composer-improvements/), emojis, [hashtag suggestions](https://blog.publer.io/new-hashtag-suggestion-generator/), and [media files.](/en/article/how-to-add-media-to-follow-up-comments-1wzgee5/)
* Each follow-up reply will have a **500 character limit**. Publer will notify you by highlighting the text that's surpassed the limit.
* Each follow-up reply will get shared after the previous one. For example, you can't schedule the third reply of a thread to be posted before the second one.
