# How to edit photos in Publer with the built-in photo editor


### DesktopStart

You can now edit images in Publer with even more flexibility. This gives you greater creative control, allowing you to crop, resize, fine-tune, add filters, text, stickers, frames, and other elements, as well as redact or annotate parts of your image so your images look exactly the way you want before publishing.

|| Note: Editing images from Link Preview using the built-in photo editor is not possible. You can only edit photos or videos that are directly uploaded to Publer.

### To use the built-in photo editor:

* Go to the **Create** tab, and select a social account.
* Start designing your post and adding a photo.
* When you hover over the photo, click on **Edit**.

* After that, you will be able to start editing your photo.
* You can **crop**, **resize**, add **filters**, **fine-tune** your image, include **frames** or **stickers**, and add other annotations like **text**, **drawings**, **shapes**, etc.

* While using **Crop**, you can also select an **Aspect Ratio** for any social account, such as Instagram or Facebook, and your design will be cropped accordingly.

* You can turn your images into stickers and place them anywhere in your photo for creative effect. For example, you can add a sticker image as a logo.

* You can also **redact** parts of the image if needed.

* After finishing your design, click the **Done** button in the top-right corner.
* Lastly, schedule your post accordingly.

# To use the built-in photo editor:

* In the mobile app, tap the + button in the bottom-right corner of the screen to create a post.
* Select the social account you want to post to and upload a photo.
* At the top-right corner of the photo, tap the pen icon to start editing.

* Select **Edit Photo**.

* After that, you will be able to start editing your photo.

* When you’ve finished editing the photo, simply tap the **check** button in the top-right corner to save your changes.
* Lastly, [schedule your photo](https://publer.com/help/en/article/how-to-manually-schedule-posts-1twud2g/) accordingly.
