# How to rename the original audio for Reels


### DesktopStart

Now you can rename the original audio for the Reel you are posting. The name you choose will appear as the audio name at the bottom of the Reel! 

### To rename the Reel's audio:

1. Select the Instagram account you wish to schedule/publish the Reel on.
2. Choose **Reel** from the post options at the top.
3. Upload the video you wish to post.
4. On the **Rename audio** field, insert the name you want to be displayed in the post.

5. You will see the new name of the audio on the **Live Preview** on the right side.

|| If you have selected more than one social network, please keep in mind that you need to [customize the post for each network](https://help.publer.io/en/article/how-to-customize-posts-for-each-social-network-1cgw0wg/) to see the option to post it as a Reel and rename the audio.

# How to rename your Instagram reel's audio in the Publer app:

* Open the Publer app and click on the **+** icon to make a new post.
* Upload your video, choose the Instagram account and select the **Reel** option.

|| Note: Publer will automatically detect the video type based on the aspect ratio and the video's technical requirements (duration and size). For example, a vertical video with a 9:16 ratio will be automatically detected as a Reel.

* Scroll down where you can see the **Rename Audio** option.

* Finally, make the last edits to your post and schedule it.
