# How to respond to internal notes


### DesktopStart

Once you have been tagged on a note you will need to stay updated and proceed accordingly. 

### To respond to notes on a post:

* Click on the Notifications bell to view any alerts you've received about being mentioned in a post.
* Whenever you are tagged in an internal note or comment, a notification will be sent to you. You can then click on the notification to check the post directly.

* Click on the notification, and you will be taken directly to the post and the new notes.

* From there, you can suggest additional changes, tag other members, and more. This will also allow you to reply to notes or comments if necessary.

* If you leave a note to a post, you'll receive a notification whenever someone adds another note afterward. This feature can be toggled on or off by going to **Settings > Email Notifications**, which you can access [here](https://app.publer.io/#/settings/notifications).

### To respond to an internal note:

* If someone tags you in a post, you will receive a notification indicating that you have been mentioned.

* Click on the notification.

* You will then be redirected to the post.
* From there, you can reply to the notes and tag other members:

|| Keep in mind, if you added a note in the post, then you will get notified for each note that is added after that.

| If you leave a note on a post, you will get notified if someone else leaves another note after you.  You can toggle this on or off at **Setting -> Notifications** [here](https://app.publer.io/#/settings/notifications) on the web.
