You can choose to pick a thumbnail from the ones that are automatically generated or upload a custom thumbnail. || You can only upload a custom video thumbnail for Facebook Pages (videos & reels), Instagram reels, LinkedIn, Mastodon, Pinterest, and YouTube ( **not shorts**). || For TikTok, you can only select from one of the 5 existing/generated thumbnails. As for BlueSky, the ability to set a custom thumbnail for videos is **not** supported. || Posts that are directly published outside Publer will only have one thumbnail when synced. --- ### To add or change the thumbnail: * Go to the [Create](https://app.publer.io/#/) tab on [Publer](https://publer.io/#/). ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/eefbebed3e091800/2024-12-19-144949_1fuzdq7.png) * Design the video post to your liking. * Click on the little **camera icon** underneath the thumbnail. ![Setting a custom thumbnail for videos](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/eefbebed3e091800/thu1_ofmqtx.png) * Choose the thumbnail you wish to set/change.
