How to set up Switchy URL Shortener

To set up a Switchy URL Shortener on Publer:

Go to Social Accounts and select an account
Select URL Settings and click on Switchy:

Add the API key:

Click here.
Go to Settings.
Select API key.
Click Generate.

Name the API key and click Confirm.
Copy the value and paste it on Publer's dashboard.

Once Switchy is connected to Publer, choose whether you want to:

Shorten any link. -- Publer will shorten all the links shared in the caption or comment of the post.
Shorten only link posts. -- Publer will only shorten the main link in the post.

Note: When you choose to shorten only link posts Publer will only shorten the main link in the post. For example, if you choose this option, create a video post, and add a link to the caption, that link won't be shortened. In this case, the link will be shortened only when the post is a link post (with a thumbnail).

You can always disconnect Switchy by clicking on Disconnect. For more information go here.

Keep in mind, the link will only be shortened after the post is scheduled/published, so you cannot see the changes when you preview the post.
