# How to use the filename as a caption when uploading photos/media

When you are uploading media from your computer, you have the option to use the file name as the caption! 

# To use the filename as a caption when uploading photos or media:

* Go to the Create page on Publer and select the desired social account on the left side.
* Click on **Click or Drag & Drop media**

* Tick the box for **Use filename as caption** located under the "Upload from device" option.

* Choose the photo or media you'd like to share by selecting it from the **Upload from device** option.
* Lastly, make the final touches and schedule accordingly.
