# What social accounts support recurring or duplicate content?

Repeating the same content over and over might be something vital for your social posting strategy, but unfortunately not all social media networks allow you to do that. 

# Social networks that support duplicate content:

1. Facebook (Pages & Locations, Profiles, and Groups )
2. Instagram (Professional accounts)
3. LinkedIn (Personal Profiles & Business Pages)
4. Telegram
5. Mastodon
6. Threads
7. Bluesky

# Social networks that do not support duplicate content:

1. Google Business Profile
2. Twitter
3. TikTok
4. YouTube
5. Pinterest
6. WordPress sites

|| Note: Duplicate posts are checked at the account level for Google, while for X/Twitter and Pinterest, duplicates are checked within the workspace.

### Workaround: Use Spintax to recycle/repeat posts for Twitter, Pinterest, or Google Business Profiles.

- You can create recurring posts if you create 10+ Spintax variations in a post's content panel.
- By having at least 10 variations per post, each time the post is set to repeat or recycle, Publer will randomly choose one of the 10 variations.

### Why are recurring posts not supported for these networks?

- Google has updated its content policy for Business Profile posts to specify that Google now considers duplicate photos, posts, videos, and logos as spam. You can read more [here.](https://support.google.com/business/answer/7213077?hl=en)

- Twitter's automation rules require you to post unique content. They consider similar tweets to be spam. You can read more [here](https://blog.twitter.com/developer/en_us/topics/tips/2018/automation-and-the-use-of-multiple-accounts).

- Pinterest's automation rules require you to post unique content. The algorithm will take into account the title, caption, and URL of each Pin. You can learn more [here](https://developers.pinterest.com/docs/reference/spam/).

- TikTok's algorithm penalizes accounts that intentionally post spam. Try to avoid any tricks that involve posting the same video multiple times, as this may be perceived as duplicate content and reduce your virality. You can read more [here.](https://www.dashhudson.com/blog/tiktok-algorithm)

- YouTube does not allow duplicate videos. Their algorithm will automatically remove duplicate content.

- WordPress does not allow duplicate posts. We do not recommend publishing the same post twice, as this could interfere with your site's Google ranking and cause issues.
