# Why are my charges higher than those listed on the Plans and Pricing page?

When you see a difference between the prices listed on our website and the amount you're charged, it is likely due to sales tax or [Value-Added Tax](https://help.publer.io/en/article/how-to-add-vat-gst-or-tax-number-w6z1yj/) (VAT). 

As mentioned on our [Plans & Pricing page](https://publer.io/plans), the VAT is not included in the prices that are displayed.

The exact amount, including any applicable taxes, will be shown on the [Billing checkout page](https://app.publer.com/#/settings/billing) and at the bottom of your [invoice](https://help.publer.io/en/article/how-to-download-my-invoices-1ijxqq3/).
