I never intended to become a Bitcoiner. I heard someone mention, “Bitcoin is digital gold.” I read one article. I bought $50 worth, then sold it at a profit five months later. Then I read the whitepaper. Then I started going deeper: • Inflation • The supply cap • The issuance schedule • The thermodynamic security model • The game theory • Monetary history • The Cantillon effect • The fiat endgame • Deflation as the natural state of a free economy And somewhere between "interesting technology" and "holy shit, every dollar I hold is melting," you cross a threshold. Then I found myself pouring my savings into Bitcoin because I understood the math. Once you see that 21 million is the only hard monetary ceiling humanity has ever coded into existence, you can’t unsee it. Once you understand that Bitcoin is an escape from a debt-soaked empire printing itself into irrelevance, you stop asking whether you should buy it. You start asking why the hell you waited this long. Bitcoin is a journey. Bitcoin is at a great price to get started today.

Customer: Excuse me, I bought this bread from you about an hour ago, and it isn’t fresh. Sales Rep: What do you mean it isn’t fresh? We sell fresh bread here every day. Customer: I asked you if it was fresh before I paid, and you told me it came out of the oven this morning. Sales Rep: And it did. Customer: Then why is it hard and dry? I got home, cut a slice, and couldn’t even enjoy it. Sales Rep: Maybe you stored it wrongly. Customer: I haven’t even had it for an hour. How could I have stored it wrongly? Sales Rep: Sir, I don’t know what you did with it after you left here. Customer: I’m not here to argue with you. I brought it back because I want a refund. Sales Rep: We don’t refund bread once it has left the shop. Customer: But you sold it to me on the promise that it was fresh. If you had told me it was yesterday’s bread, I wouldn’t have bought it. Sales Rep: Nobody forced you to buy anything.

✅ Your VP Sales candidate will forgive you for: - A comp package below their last job if the equity is real - A pipeline that’s mostly founder-led deals so far - No sales ops, no enablement, and a CRM you built in a weekend - A 4-round process that actually moved fast ❌ Your VP Sales candidate will NOT forgive you for:

people find these impressive because they don't know the tricks, and they learn the wrong lesson it's tempting to think @ScottWu46 is a genius and therefore he built @cognition there are at least 10000 12yo kids every year who can do these math tricks just as fast of these 10000 kids who could do this, none built a $50B company, and the sad thing is most don't even try what's impressive is building cognition DESPITE doing these math stuff now first the tricks a^2 - b^2 = (a+b)(a-b) when a=255, b=245, it's obvious you got 500x10=5000 number of possible 5 digits for 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 is simply 5 factorial, which is 5x4x3x2 kids playing this already got basic factorials memorized, so you know 5! = 120 and by chance half of them has 1 before 2, vice versa so that's 120/2=60 i used to do olympiads back in china and there are at least 10000 12yo kids every year who can do these math tricks just as fast the really hard part is this: training for these olympiads, or even excelling them without trying too much, prepares you for a career that's really different from building startup these math problems are static, but startup is dynamic learning math for many asian kids is the standard, low-resistance path, but starting a startup is high-risk path of these 10000 kids who could do this, none built a $50B company, and the sad thing is most don't even try they stick with the traditional path: be a software eng at big tech, be a quant at hft firms, do phd, do ml at labs and that's it i know this because i used to be one of them: went through olympiad -> top uni -> phd -> faculty only to realize that i could only achieve my dream through startup and nothing prepares you for a startup other than doing it then i had to learn everything startup founders need to learn no matter your prior experience scott wu already started his first company at 20 (cofounder & cto). by 26 when he started cognition, he's already a very experienced startup founder the real lesson here is if you are smart and want to have real impact through startup, there's nothing that prepares you other than just doing it (founding or early team at least) you have to resist the temptation of all the traditional path with guaranteed outcome (like jane street)

NBA Notes Sat Oct 24th 💎⬇️ First back to backs of the season‼️ Make sure to stay up to date with the injury news today- Giannis/Bam on B2B. Rough showing so far from MIA. Milwaukee on B2B Lebron/Embiid on front end of B2B, Lebron already questionable- I expect Embiid to play today and sit tomorrow Wizards on B2B- AD/Trae Bulls on B2B- Giddey- but keep a note on Chicago’s weird rotations thus far Spurs on B2B- Wemby/Fox/Harper/Castle after a tough game yesterday Dallas B2B- doubt Cooper plays, possible blowout Houston on B2B + travel to ATL- Durant? Reed Sheppard injured ATL on B2B- not too worried about them, everyone stayed under 30 minutes Pelicans B2B- note Zion, Murray here, Missi OUT should open up time for Queen but foul trouble vs Jokic a big factor GS B2B- Curry and Draymond are rest candidates, Podziemski is OUT

don't pitch VCs on your margin, your business, your tech pitch the world you're going to build and the empire you'll build inside it make them want to own a piece of your world, and they'll jump at the chance https://t.co/GAAK00JYWg
