While I support health awareness in all forms, I have mixed opinions about the warning labels for samosas and jalebis. Implementation of these warning labels would be logistically impractical and could disproportionately affect street vendors without yielding meaningful health outcomes. From a public health policy perspective, we should first prioritize warning labels for ultra-processed foods such as colas, instant noodles, and chips which are consistently linked to higher risks of chronic.

Attending the Abuja Igbo Fest was a remarkable experience. I was struck by the sheer scale of participation and the strength of cultural identity on full display. I had not imagined that such a deeply rooted and unifying event existed here in the capital, bringing together the Igbo community in such an intentional and inspiring way. I was truly blown away by the energy, the unity, and the overwhelming show of support for the creation of Anioma State. As their banner boldly reads: “The call for Anioma State is not just a political demand, it is a cultural affirmation.” Indeed, IGBO BU OFU! Thank you for the honour of making me your Patron.
