How to access the Publer API

The Public API is now available to Publer’s Enterprise plan users and Business plan users in good standing, offering greater flexibility and expanded integration options.

To access the Publer API:

  • Go to Settings in your Publer dashboard.

  • Find the API Key section, and click on Generate/Manage API Keys.

  • Add a name for your API key, so you can easily recognize it later. This is required.
  • Workspaces and Accounts are required by default.
  • Select any additional scopes you want to allow for the API key, such as Posts, Media, or Analytics.
  • Click Generate API Key.

  • Copy the generated API key and save it somewhere secure.
  • If you want to quickly test the API key, click Try it out.
  • Check the confirmation box that says you have copied and saved the API key.
  • Click Done.

  • In the test requests window, choose one of the available endpoints.
  • Click Send request to test the API key.

You can also copy the API request and use it in your own tools or workflows.

Keep in mind:

  • API access depends on your plan and account status.
  • Make sure to save your API key somewhere secure, as you may not be able to view it again later.
  • Do not share your API key publicly.
  • The permissions available through the API depend on the scopes selected when creating the API key.
  • If needed, you can remove an API key and create a new one from Settings > API & Webhooks.
