How to customize posts for each social network

Maintaining an effective online presence on all social networks is costly and very time-consuming, but it doesn't have to be when you can customize posts with Publer.

Go to the Create tab.

Select the social networks where you want to share the post and create your post accordingly.
Click on Customize Post icon.

Select a social account and make the necessary changes to its post. For example, a Pinterest post requires you to select a board.
Repeat these steps for any other social accounts you want to customize. You can do this for both grouped and individual posts on the Create composer.

Note: Publer will always notify you if there’s an issue with your post, such as truncation for X/Twitter or missing settings required by the social network, so you can make the necessary adjustments.

To double-check where you're posting, just hover your mouse over the social network logo.
Finally, you can preview the post on the right side to see how it will appear on each social network.

To customize posts after they have been scheduled:

Go to the Calendar and open the scheduled post.
For grouped posts, click the Customize post icon, then select the social account whose post you want to customize.

Make the necessary changes and click Save.

To customize follow-up comments, click Customize comments, select each applicable social account, and edit its comment.

Click Save to apply the changes. To use the same follow-up comment across all selected accounts again, click Uncustomize comments.

Once you login on the application you need to press the plus button on the bottom middle of the screen.
Select a few social accounts on the top.
Curate your post.
The option to customize your post will be displayed.

Toggle the option to customize the post for each social account:

You can choose to add a photo for Facebook and Instagram, shorten it for Twitter, or add a CTA button for Google My Business.

We will let you know whenever there's something wrong with your post, i.e. it gets truncated for Twitter, so that you can make the needed changes.
