How to connect Instagram accounts

You can now connect your Instagram accounts to Publer, with or without requiring a Facebook page login.

To connect an Instagram account to Publer:

Note: For the moment only Instagram Creator and Business accounts that have been connected to a Facebook Page are supported. Convert your Instagram account to a Creator/Business one and connect it to a Facebook Page here. Alternatively, you can connect your Facebook Page to your Instagram Creator/Business account by going here.

Go to Social Accounts, and click on Connect.

You’ll then see two options. Select the one labeled Professional (via Facebook) to proceed.

On the next prompt, click Continue.

Next, sign in to the corresponding Facebook account, with which you are an Admin on the Page that is connected to this Instagram account.
Then, choose to Continue as ‘Your Name’ and you’ll be redirected back to Publer.

Once you’re redirected back to Publer, connect all the Instagram accounts you want to use and click on Continue.

Warning: If you are not able to see the Instagram account after following the steps as outlined above, please take a look at the article here to try and add the account.

To connect Instagram accounts without using Facebook logins:

Note: For the moment only Instagram Creator and Business accounts are supported due to API limitations. You can convert your Instagram account to a Creator or Business account by following the guide here.

Go to Social Accounts
Locate Instagram, and click on +Connect.

After that, you’ll see two options. Select the one labeled Professional to proceed.

On the next prompt, click Continue.

Write the credentials of the Instagram account.

You will then be prompted to authorize Publer to access your account.

Once you’re redirected back to Publer, connect all the Instagram accounts you want to use and click on Continue.

To connect an Instagram account to Publer:

Go to the Publer icon on the left-side.

Go to Accounts and click on + Add new social accounts

Click on the Instagram account

On the next prompt, click Confirm.

Next, sign in to the corresponding Facebook account, with which you are an Admin on the Page that is connected to this Instagram account.

Then, choose to Continue as ‘Your Name’ and you’ll be redirected back to Publer.
Once you’re redirected back to Publer, connect all the Instagram accounts you want to use and click on Continue.
