How to convert pasted links to images

DesktopStart

You can easily convert public links into images directly inside Publer. This is useful when you want the link preview to appear as a photo in your post.

To convert pasted links to images:

  • Go to Create and paste the link into the composer.

  • Click on Convert link to image.

Links that do not return thumbnails cannot be converted to photos. This usually happens when the page is not publicly accessible or is missing the required meta tags.

  • Choose a background color for your image. You can select a solid color or a gradient.
  • If you prefer a darker style, toggle on Dark Card.

  • Customize the aspect ratio based on where you plan to post. Available options include:

  • Custom
  • Square (1:1)
  • Landscape (16:9)
  • Vertical (9:16)
  • Classic TV (4:3)

  • You can also customize additional elements based on the social account.
  • Click Apply to save the image.
  • The link to the original post will automatically appear in the caption, but you can remove it if you want.
  • Once you’re done, preview the final result in the Live Preview on the right side.
