How to set a custom thumbnail for a link post

Adding or changing a thumbnail for a link post is fairly easy.

To add/change the thumbnail:



Go to Create.
Design the post to your liking.
Click on the little camera icon underneath the thumbnail.



Choose the thumbnail you'd like to use.
Alternatively, you can create a thumbnail on the spot using Canva, VistaCreate, or PublerAI.



After selecting the thumbnail, just click on Publish.
You can click the arrows below the thumbnail to browse and choose the one you'd like to use.



Finally, preview to make sure the it will be posted correctly to the social media, and schedule accordingly.

Some social networks, like Facebook, ask that you verify the domain ownership in order for the changes made to the link preview to be saved.

Adding or changing a thumbnail for a link post is fairly easy.

To add/change the thumbnail:



Go to the mobile app of Publer, and click on the + button at the bottom middle of the screen to create a post.
Select a social account and design the post to your liking. Make sure to add a link to it, i.e. https://publer.io
Once the link loads, click on the pen icon at the top right corner of the link to edit the link preview.

You can choose to edit the link title and description or the link thumbnail. Click on Edit Link Thumbnail
You can upload a custom thumbnail for the link preview or use one of the automatically generated thumbnails.

After you choose the thumbnail you wish to add/change, click on Save.
Finally, schedule the post for the desired time and date.
