What is the Publer Calendar?


The Publer Calendar gives you a complete overview of your social media content. You can view, manage, schedule, edit, preview, and organize your posts directly from the Calendar.


Let's discover the various ways you can utilize the Publer Calendar:


  1. Manage Posts Easily – View and manage your posts directly from the Calendar. You can edit existing posts, fix typos, add or remove social accounts, reschedule content, and make other changes with just a few clicks.


You can also easily change the publishing date of a post using the drag & drop feature.

  • When you create a post for multiple social accounts, the posts are displayed together in the Calendar to keep your content organized. Click Show each post to view or manage a specific post separately.



  • Posts created for multiple social accounts can have different publishing times, dates, or post types. Once an individual post is published, it will appear separately in the Calendar, while the remaining unpublished posts will stay together.



  1. Filter Posts – Filter your posts by social account, post status, post type, team member, or search by text. You can also filter by date, quickly navigate to a specific date, return to today, or switch between monthly, weekly, and daily views.


When a post is created for multiple social accounts, it will remain visible if at least one of the posts matches the selected filters.

  1. Create a New Post – Hover your mouse over a specific date in the Calendar to see the + icon and create a new post for that day. In the weekly and monthly views, select a day for your post. In the daily view, you can also specify the publishing time.

  1. Content Suggestions for Specific Days – The Calendar includes national, international, and awareness holidays with relevant hashtags. Click on a hashtag to open the Create page with the hashtag already added.


If you need some inspiration, you can also use a GIF to bring your holiday post to life.




  1. Preview Posts in Real Time – Preview your posts directly from the Calendar before they are published. This makes it easy to check how your content will look and make any necessary changes.

  • If a post was created for multiple social accounts, clicking the Preview icon will show the included social accounts so you can choose which post you want to preview.



  1. View Timeslots and Best Times to Post – Publer can suggest the best times to post based on the engagement of your previous posts. If you have set up a posting schedule, your available timeslots will also appear directly in the Calendar.

  1. Show or Hide Timeslots – Choose whether you want your available timeslots to be displayed in the Calendar.

  1. Instagram Feed Preview – Preview your Instagram feed using both your published and scheduled content. From the Instagram Feed Preview, you can edit, reschedule, schedule, and manage your Instagram posts directly from Publer.


You can also auto-schedule media directly from the Media Library.

Keep in mind that the Media Library comes with a paid plan, unlike the Instagram Feed Preview.
