What happens if I change the profile name/photo on Publer to shorten it?

When you connect a social account to Publer, its name and profile photo are imported from the social network.
You can change the name and photo displayed in Publer to make the account easier to recognize. These changes only apply within Publer. They do not change the account’s name or profile photo on the social network itself.
This is especially useful if you manage several pages or accounts with the same name. You can give each account a different name in Publer to help you select the right one when creating and scheduling posts.
To edit the profile name:
- Go to Social Accounts in Publer.
- Select the social account whose name you want to change.
- Click on the pencil icon next to the account’s current name.
- Enter the name you want to use for this account in Publer.
- Click on the checkmark icon to save your changes.
To edit the profile photo:
- Go to Social Accounts in Publer.
- Select the social account whose profile photo you want to change.
- Click on Change next to the current profile photo.
- Choose the image you want to use and follow the prompts to apply it.

To edit the profile photo on mobile:
- Open the navigation menu in the Publer mobile app and go to Accounts.
- Select the social account whose profile photo you want to change.
- Tap Change next to the current profile photo.
- Choose the image you want to use and follow the prompts to apply it.
