How to specify post presets for a social account

Post Presets are default settings you can apply to your social media accounts in Publer. They help you save time and keep your posts consistent by automatically adding certain details to each new post.

Instead of configuring the same options over and over, you can define presets per account once, and they will apply automatically moving forward.

How to specify post presets for a social account :

  • Go to Social Accounts.
  • Select the social account where you want to apply presets (e.g., BlueSky).

  • Navigate to the Post Presets tab.

  • Choose the preset you want to configure (e.g., default language) and save your changes.

You can update or remove presets at any time, and they will only apply to new posts moving forward.

Platform-Specific Post Presets

Each social platform has its own unique settings that you can specify :

  • Instagram Business accounts, Facebook Pages, Threads – Set a Default Location that will be added to all posts automatically.
  • Bluesky – Choose a Default Language for posts.
  • Pinterest – Select a Default Board where new pins will be saved.

In addition to the platform-specific post presets, you can also configure:

Note: Some post presets may not be supported by certain social networks due to API limitations.

Post Presets must be manually configured for each social account where you want them to apply. They do not carry over automatically across accounts.
