Where do I host the media for the CSV file?
Hosting Media
You can take full advantage of Publer’s Media Library, which provides unlimited storage for all your media. This allows you to conveniently add your media directly to your CSV file without relying on external cloud services, either by copying the URL individually or in bulk.
Please note that when you upload a media file to Publer, it is not immediately saved to our main cloud storage. Instead, to speed up processing and ensure a smooth user experience, the media is first temporarily stored on our internal servers before being transferred to permanent cloud storage.
app.publer.com/tmp is our server where media is initially stored.
cdn.publer.com is our main cloud storage.
This means that the media URL you initially copy may contain /temp/ in its path—especially if you copy it immediately after uploading the file to your Media Library. This /temp/ or temporary link is only valid for a limited time, as the media will eventually be transferred to permanent cloud storage. Once this transfer is complete, the /temp/ link will no longer be accessible.
In this case, we recommend waiting for the upload to fully complete within Publer before copying the media URLs—ensuring they no longer include /temp/—and then fetching the new CDN links. However, if you need to schedule content right away, make sure to upload the CSV file immediately after copying the temporary links.
Alternatively, you can also host your media in any online clouds, like Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc. Once you have the media, you simply need to copy their link and add it to the CSV file.
Note: The Media Library has unlimited storage and allows you to organize your media with labels.
Media Library
After you have uploaded your media to the Media Library, you can use them within the CSV file like so:
Go to the Media Library in Publer.
Find the media you want to add to the CSV file.
To copy the URLs of your stored media in bulk:
Select all the media you want to use and copy the URLs.
Once you've picked all the media you need, click Copy URLs.

You will then have the option to copy the media URLs either as Comma Separated or New-Line Separated.

Choose "Comma Separated" if you plan to schedule posts as a carousel or multi-photo posts, or "New-Line Separated" if you are posting them individually.
Next, paste them into the CSV file template, and once completed, upload the file back to Publer.
Lastly, schedule the posts accordingly.
To copy the URL of your stored media one at a time:
For Photos:
You have to make sure to click on the photo to open it first in high resolution.
Then, right click on the photo and select Copy Image Address.

For Videos:
You have to make sure to click on the video to open it first.
Then, right click on the video and select Copy Video Address.

Finally, go to the CSV File and paste the link in the Media URL column the image or video URL accordingly.
Note: We suggest waiting about 30 minutes after uploading your images or videos to Publer before retrieving the URLs and adding them to the CSV file.
