How to tag collaborators in Facebook Reels
What is Facebook Collaborator Tagging?
Facebook Collaborator Tagging lets users tag brands, influencers, or partners in posts. This boosts visibility, gives credit, and helps track performance. Tagged collaborators may also access insights like engagement and reach, making it useful for promotions and partnerships.
While creating a reel, you can invite another Facebook Page to join as a collaborator to your post. If they accept the invite, the post will be visible on both your feeds.
Keep in mind, you can tag only 1 collaborator in total per reel.
To tag a collaborator on a Facebook Reel:
Click on the Create button.
Choose the Facebook Page and upload the reel accordingly.
Under "More options" click on Tag collaborator.

Start typing the Facebook Page username in the box field on the right.
You have to make sure that you select the Facebook page username on the suggested accounts.
You can only tag only 1 collaborator for each reel.

To remove a tag, click the x button next to the collaborator’s name.
Once you've added the tag, click Save Tag and continue finalizing your post.

Finally, on the right hand side, you will be able to preview the post and the collaborator tag in real time.
Troubleshooting
If the collaborator is experiencing issues with the automated Facebook invitation, due to a bug from Facebook, you can manually send them the link instead.
After publishing the post, access it in Calendar view.
Copy the post link to your clipboard by clicking on Copy the invitation link and send it to the collaborator page.

The collaborator needs to paste the copied link into their browser.
Make sure they are logged into the correct Facebook Page that was tagged in the post.

They will see a preview of the post with the option to Accept or Decline the collaboration.

Keep in mind:
You can tag collaborators in reels.
You can only tag Facebook Pages, not Personal Profiles and Groups.
Due to Facebook API limitations, you can only tag 1 collaborator per post.
Similar to user/account tags, if you tag an invalid collaborator, the post will be published without the invalid tag.
Usernames are not case-sensitive, so you can write them in capital letters or lowercase. However, you have to make sure that the Facebook collaborator's username is 100% correct and select it on the suggested accounts.
