Why can't I see the Instagram account I want to add to Publer?

If you are getting the error "No eligible social accounts to add" when trying to connect to your Instagram Page, then most probably there is an error not allowing the connection between Facebook and Instagram to go through, or some permissions are missing on the Business Integrations section.

Note: If you're trying to connect an Instagram account with Facebook, make sure that your Instagram Creator or Business accounts are properly connected to a Facebook Page. To connect your Facebook Page to your Instagram account, go here.
For Instagram accounts without a Facebook login, please note that only Creator and Business accounts are supported due to API limitations. To convert your Instagram account to a Creator or Business one, go here.

1. Resolve any issues, verifications, or alerts:

Check if you need to Review Connection between Facebook and Instagram:

Go to the Facebook page that you have connected to Instagram.
On the left, go to Settings of this Facebook page.
Then, go to Linked Accounts and choose Instagram.
If you have any warnings, make sure to review them accordingly.
Follow the steps on the guide here for more guidance.
Finally, try to connect the Instagram account again.

Warning: If you cannot Review the Connection from neither Facebook, please check Instagram and the Meta Business Manager and make sure there are no alerts there. If need be, create a Meta Business Manager account for the Instagram and Facebook accounts, by following the steps on the Business Manager.

2. If you still cannot see the IG account after making sure you have no pending errors:

2.1 Try the following:

Go to Social Accounts and click on Connect for Instagram.
Select Instagram and click on Continue after making sure that you have a Creator or Business Instagram Account connected to a Facebook Page that you Administer.
On the next screen, select Edit Access instead of Continue as [Your Name].

Here, make sure to enable all the Instagram accounts and linked Facebook pages you want Publer to access, and ensure all the necessary permissions are toggled.

Once you've toggled the necessary permissions, close the window and click Continue.

In the next prompt, select all the Instagram accounts you want to connect to Publer.

2.2 If the above doesn't work, try the following:

Make sure to switch to your main/personal Facebook account first, not the Page.
Go to Facebook Settings > Business Integrations then search for or click on "publer.io".
In the popup, make sure that you've given Publer access to all the required permissions.

Make sure to scroll down, review all settings, enable everything, and click Save.

After that, try adding the missing Instagram account again.

2.3 Lastly, if you still have no luck, try this resource:

Go to Facebook Settings > Business Integrations one more time and search for or click on "publer.io".
Click on Remove on the right of "publer.io" integration.

You can also click on View and Edit and in the popup, scroll down and click on "Remove".

This will simply disconnect Publer from the Facebook Business Integrations, it will not remove the social accounts from Publer, and none of your content/insights will get lost. However, you will need to reauthenticate the accounts connected to your Facebook Profile again.

Once you do that, try adding the missing Instagram account one more time.
Don't forget to reauthenticate the existing Facebook Pages, Groups, and Instagram accounts.
