How to create a Facebook Status Update with a background

To create a Facebook Status Update with a background:



Open the Create button.
Select the Facebook Page of your choice.
Click on the small background icon.



Choose a background from the available options.



Start writing your status update on the caption. It will be reflected in real time on the Post Preview.

There is no character limit when creating status updates with backgrounds via Publer. When posting directly on Facebook, the limit is 130 characters.



You can also choose to add hashtags, mentions, location, auto-share, or auto-delete the post.



Schedule the post accordingly.

Keep in mind:



You cannot add both media and a background.
You can only create status updates with a background for Facebook Pages.
If you add a link, it will appear as plain text without a link preview.
When editing a published post, you can change the background but not remove it.
When syncing posts, we cannot retrieve published posts with a background from Facebook. They will appear as regular status updates.

Select the Facebook Page of your choice.
Click on Background.



Choose a background from the available options.



Click on Save to add the background to the post.

To open a preview of the post, click on the eye icon on bottom right side.



After previewing the post, click Next and schedule it accordingly.
