Why were they speaking in English? — They are guests in a YouTube channel that is based in the United States, a country where English is the primary language. Also, the host does not understand Filipino. 3. Do they find Filipino snacks disgusting? — No. To make that sweeping generalization would be a mistake. Besides, it is basic knowledge that not all Filipinos eat all kinds of local food. For example, Filipinos have polarizing opinions on betamax, isaw and balut. In the video, only 3 out of 11 snacks that were presented to BINI members received a total rating of less than 50% (40/80), namely, betamax (17.5), hopiang baboy (34.98), pig isaw (39). 4.
