Listened to the $NFLX call and I am really excited about this business. While the street fixates on the $42B bridge facility, the Q4 call quietly confirmed the structural thesis from my latest research. Ad revenue hit >$1.5B (2.5x growth) and is guided to ~$3B (doubling again) in '26. Management explicitly cited "better historical data" from the in-house stack as the driver for improved fill rates with steady CPMs. Doubling revenue on the proprietary stack means dropping the variable 3rd-party fees. That incremental margin expansion helps service the debt. The guide includes a conservative 0.5% margin drag for M&A. And they still expect an overall 2% margin improvement. The success of Red Dead Redemption and Squid Game Unleashed proves they can retain users (and ad inventory) across mediums, deepening the data moat. Netflix is evolving from a media utility to a yield management platform.
