Is there the 2nd coming of Alex Pietrangelo in this draft... Frank Seravalli certainly believes so, going as far as calling Keaton Verhoeff the best RHD to come out of western Canada in 25 years. The high praise is nice, but I'm a little lower on Verhoeff. He challenged himself in the NCAA this season, but the results were still concerning. Verhoeff has a high ceiling, but his floor is that of a Levshunov or David Jiricek. Concerning speed and questionable hockey IQ will need to be developed a lot moving forward. Verhoeff has fallen down most draft rankings and will likely be in range of a trade up if the Blues want him. Even if he doesn't reach his ceiling, he's a safe bet to be a 2nd pair dman. Do you want the Blues to trade up for Verhoeff? Could he really be the 2nd coming of Petro?
