Meet 6 of our newest patients, orphaned Coyote pups 🐾 Recently, 6 tiny pups were discovered inside a den after a concerned individual noticed a deceased female Coyote nearby. Rescuers were able to safely locate the pups, each weighing only around 2.5 pounds, and bring them into care. Right now, these patients are in the critical early stages of growth! Upon intake, our team completed full examinations, provided supportive care including fluids, and carefully monitored hydration, weight, and overall condition. Thankfully, they are currently in good health and showing encouraging progress! At this stage, our focus is on proper nutrition, healthy development, and keeping them as wild as possible so they can one day return to their natural environment. This is exactly why our Wildlife Baby Shower is so important. Baby season brings an overwhelming influx of orphaned and injured wildlife, and every donation directly supports animals like these pups.
