Conversing on the phone with ChatGPT like it’s my personal assistant? Summarized responses from Google for anything I ask? What AI time to be alive! 😃
AI giants are upping their game to make your life and social media strategies smoother than ever!
OpenAI has just released
GPT-4o, a powerful model that handles various inputs and provides faster responses in any format you need about your social media content & strategy, including text, audio and image, even allowing direct uploads from
Google Drive & OneDrive. Plus, they’re launching a ChatGPT app for Mac to streamline multitasking. 👩💻
Meanwhile, at its
I/O conference, Google introduced Gemini 1.5 Flash, maintaining Pro-level power with increased speed to rival GPT-4o. They’re enhancing Google search with
AI Overviews for summarized responses, introducing
video queries, and adding the
“Ask Photos” assistant for efficient photo archive searches.(Will be using this to dig through my gazillions of screenshots 🤭)
Alongside, Google’s
new AI tools for image and video creation are set to revolutionize content creation and audience engagement. 🎞
And the best part?
Publer AI Assist, now powered by GPT-4o, is here to supercharge your social media game. Generating content, crafting responses, and more, it’s like having the ultimate social media assistant by your side.

THREADS/X
|
|
Wait, Is This TweetDeck V2? 🤔
|
|
It seems that Meta is consistently taking notes from X to enhance Threads with new features. ✍️
Instagram’s Head, Mosseri, recently shared in a
thread post that they’re testing pinned columns for Threads on the web, revolutionizing the way users engage with real-time conversations.
This
functionality would allow you to organize separate columns for your preferred searches, tags, accounts, saved posts, and notifications. It sounds like a great method for monitoring mentions and fostering community engagement around the most relevant topics for your brand.
We can’t help but notice the similarity to TweetDeck, now rebranded as “X Pro” and exclusive to paying subscribers. It’s almost like they say, ‘If you can’t beat them, join them.’ Or perhaps, ‘If you can’t beat them, borrow their ideas.’ 🤪

200+ Years Later, “Let Them Eat Cake” Is Still Causing Riots.
|
|
Which celeb is getting cancelled next? It’s more than just a trend this time. It’s a digital revolution. Social media users are leading the
‘Blockout 2024’ campaign, urging a boycott of stars who stay silent on Gaza’s crisis.
Big names like Zendaya, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and the Kardashians are getting muted and blocked on social to push them to speak up.
The movement gained momentum during the Met Gala, where the fancy outfits sharply contrasted with the harsh realities of the war. The tipping point was a now-deleted TikTok by influencer Haley Kalil, who dressed as Marie Antoinette and lip-synced to the
“Let Them Eat Cake” trend. This video was widely criticized as insensitive and tone-deaf, further fueling the campaign.
While some stars are now speaking out, critics doubt their sincerity. Yet, the campaign showcases social media’s growing power for activism.

META
|
|
Meta Really Said CHA-CHING! 🤑
|
|
Meta is extending its
Verification for Business subscription package, allowing more brands to obtain a blue checkmark for their Facebook and/or Instagram profiles. ✅
Previously limited to Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, this option is now available in Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Peru, France, and Italy. Additionally, Meta introduces
new features and higher-priced tiers for business verification, offering four options with varied benefits, including enhanced profiles, reel links, search optimization, and employee impersonation protection. 🔐
Of course, all this glitz and glam comes at a price. The top-tier subscription will set you back $499 a month, or a cool $699.98 if you want to verify both platforms. But hey, if you’re serious about your Facebook or Instagram game, sometimes you gotta pay to play, right? 💸

X/TWITTER
|
|
Officially X.COM
|
|
Yup, we’re still calling it Twitter. But it’s time to kiss it goodbye and welcome the
official domain x.com.
For months after switching to X and migrating to the new brand, through its official X account, mobile app, X Premium subscriptions, the domain remained twitter.com, which made for a clumsy transition. 🥴
Now
X has officially embraced X.com for its core systems, so typing twitter.com in your browser will redirect to Elon Musk’s chosen domain, which he sees as the future hub for all digital needs, aiming to transform it into an “everything app” like WeChat.
Whatever you call it, Twitter or X, Publer has you covered. Manage your presence, automate your posts, and thrive on the platform, no matter the name.

The official

From finding it unconventional to downright spooky (
even King Charles himself 😆), the memes have been pouring in.
